"Around the World in Eighty Days" is a fantastic tale of adventure for the whole
family. Phileas Fogg, an Englishman, with his French manservant, Passepartout,
create an unusual pairing in a story filled with exotic locations, suspense
and many laughs along the way.
One might think that alone would make for a splendid evening, but...
The Kryptonite Radio Theater goes one step further and turns the stage
into a 1940s radio studio. From there they tell the tale in the style of
the "Golden Age" of radio -- filled with live sound effects and,
occasionally, interrupted by "important announcements", typical old time
radio commercials or musical interludes.
